AIM, Southampton Universitys Alternative and Indie Music Society.

Interested in music? Well who isnt. Everyone is and therefore this is the Society for you. Come along on our events and socials meet some great like minded people and listen to the best of Southamptons Alternative and Indie Music Scene.

AIM hopes to encompass many different eras and the Indie and Alternative genres including Electronica and Acoustic also. Music spanning all ages from the Beatles to Franz Ferdinand, The Rolling Stones to Oasis and Gary Numan to Justice. Theres something for everyone.

Every 3rd Monday, Frequency run by AIM is held in the Stags Head- opposite the Southampton University Students Union. Come along and meet like minded people, discuss music and watch some great local bands and dance away to the best of Local Indie DJs. Usual drinks deals apply.

Socials to local Indie and Alternative Music venues are also held twice a month encompassing local Indie Pubs and Clubs, including the Talking Heads, Lennons, Unit and Hamptons. Find out more about different venues around Southampton and the events they hold on our VENUES page.
